You Gotta Love the French!

Hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets on Thursday. Stopping the trains. Grounding the planes. Closing the schools and the post office. About 20 percent of the work force went on strike.

Because President Sarkozy wants to raise the retirement age to 62. As a cost cutting measure. Currently it is 60. 

That’s what I call a labor movement.

What would it take for the US work force to go on strike in such record numbers?
